My logo mark

What is the meaning behind my logo? When I started seeing clients in my therapy practice, I wanted to create a logo that could express the essence of my work with them.

This logo became emblematic of learning trust in the creative process through grounding into materials and allowing it to reflect what I needed it to be. This image is one of the first things I made when coming up with the logo, and I discovered that sometimes the first thing you say is enough, perfect for that moment.

I wanted to have something hand-made by me that would have a personal touch and contain the energy of what I hoped to offer my clients. Taking time to start from a calm and grounded place as I would at the start of any session, I painted a circle setting the contained space I offer clients. I made a brushstroke representing me in the container and a brushstroke for them. Standing side by side, looking into that circle together, we connect in the potential of all it can be, hold and allow. The painted lines are strong, confident and clear, while also energetic and sensitive to the movements that made them. This logo offers the starting place to begin in therapy with me and any project or collaboration we may share.
